Met My Soul Mate

Tuesday evening, I met my soul mate. That person who "gets" me and can articulate it in beautiful ways. Okay, so she's a woman, and I like men, but who says the idea of soul mates can only be romantic in nature?

My musical soul mate is Natasha Bedingfield. Every single song she has released has meaning for me. It is like someone else has taken my thoughts and penned them into peppy tunes. Her music is positive but also real- something that I strive for in my own life.

This last year has been one of growth for me, and I can really relate to "Happy".
